Our approach to quality, testing, and sourcing
Customers buying supplements should be able to understand what they are buying, where it comes from, and what quality checks support the claims made on the site. This page explains the standard we aim to meet for product quality information.
What we aim to show
- Clear ingredient information for each product.
- Plain-English explanations of sourcing, manufacturing, and product format.
- Testing information where claims are made about purity, contaminants, heavy metals, microbiology, or quality.
- Batch, laboratory, or certificate details where available and appropriate to publish.
- Accurate stock, backorder, price, and product availability information.
Testing evidence
If a page says a product is tested, heavy-metal tested, pure, or quality checked, we aim to support that with suitable evidence. This may include certificates of analysis, laboratory reports, supplier documentation, or other quality records.
As part of the current site review, we are improving how this evidence is presented. Some older pages may describe quality standards before the supporting documents have been added in the clearest format. Where evidence is not yet published, wording should remain cautious.
Sourcing and supplier information
We aim to describe sourcing in a way that is accurate and useful, without creating claims that cannot be checked. Where a product depends on supplier information, we aim to keep records and update the page if supplier details or formulation changes.
Product changes
Ingredients, packaging, batches, prices, and availability can change. Customers should check the product page at the time of purchase and contact us if they need a specific batch or quality document before ordering.
