FS Greens Review

FS Greens Review in 30 Seconds: My Verdict

★★★★★

Overall, I rate FS Greens as an excellent green powder with a well-thought-through selection of superfood ingredients.

It is pure whole food, which is a plus in my book, without any synthesised vitamins or minerals.

I love the addition of maca, flax kiwi, three of my favourite superfoods.

The taste is pleasant, the price is quite competitive, and I applaud the lack of fillers or sweeteners.

My main complaint is that I would like to see organic ingredients or at least detailed information about ingredient sourcing and provenance.

Nevertheless, despite this small caveat, I rate this as one of the best green foods out there.

How to Use FS Greens

FS-Greens is versatile and convenient to use.

Simply mix one teaspoon (5g) with 250ml of water or add it to your Free Soul protein blends for an all-around wellness boost.

I found it dissolves very well and is also very easy to add to a banana hemp milk smoothie.

FS Greens Taste

This is a pleasant-tasting green powder with a fairly strong pineapple taste. In the background, it has that grassy, vegetal flavour you get from most green powders but it’s by no means unpleasant, just a nice healthy undertone.

FS Greens Nutritional Value

The nutritional values of FS-Greens are minimal, with just one 5g serving containing 19kcal of energy, 0.9g of fat, 1.2g of carbohydrates, 0.9g of sugars, 1.3g of fibre, 0.9g of protein, and 0.03g of salt.

FS Greens Quality and Sourcing

fs greens packet image

While FS greens are additive-free, the lack of proper information about the provenance and sourcing of anything in the mixture is my biggest issue with the product.

There are no third-party tests, such as heavy metal testing.

Given how rife the superfood sector is with cheap ingredients, I see this is a huge issue for FS Greens to address. Consumers these days want more transparency.

FS Greens for Men

Despite the female-centric marketing, I see no reason men shouldn’t take FS Greens as much as women.

If you have a particular issue with oestrogen dominance, you may be put off by the fact flaxseed is the top ingredient but, for the majority of men, flaxseeds are a fantastic source of lignans and are highly recommended.

Overall, this is a gender-neutral supplement, so easy to share throughout the family.

FS Greens Vs Rheal

With 21 ingredients compared to Rheal’s 8, FS Green is a much more comprehensive supplement. FS Greens contains a range of nutrient-dense powders such as spinach, flaxseed, kale, broccoli, alfalfa, ashwagandha, and superfood powders like moringa, barley grass, and maca.

Rheal Clean Greens, on the other hand, includes a blend of organic superfood powders such as baobab, chlorella, spirulina, camu camu berry, pineapple, and wheatgrass.

FS Greens wins hands down for the breadth of ingredients, whereas Rheal offers better quality, using 100% organic.

Rheal Greens is slightly cheaper at £25 vs FS Greens at £26.99.

Rheal Greens is slightly more palatable, as you’d expect from a simpler, fruity mixture.

FS Greens vs Athletic Greens

With 75 ingredients in Athletic Greens compared to 21 in FS Greens, AG wins on nutrient diversity. That said, I am not a huge fan of giving the body too much of a good thing. In fact, I personally wouldn’t take Athletic Greens on a continual basis: it has too many highly potent supplements in it for continual use in my judgement.

FS Greens has a nice balance with its 21 ingredients. It also doesn’t contain any synthetic minerals or vitamins, preferring to use only wholefood sources which I also consider a huge positive.

FS Greens is also radically cheaper than Athletic Greens which seals it as the overall winner in my direct comparison.
